Getting Ready for Hurricane Season!

Texas Windstorm Insurance Association:
After a busy Spring storm season, we are continuing preparations for the upcoming Hurricane Season. Anyone who is still not TWIA Certified within the last two years (2010 does not count), please let Jodie Hackleman know at 817-767-2108 ext. 105 or by email at [email protected]. We will be administering several TWIA certifications over the summer. We are a tier one first response vendor and anyone wanting to be deployed immediately following a tropical storm or hurricane will need to be on a tier one vendor's certified adjuster list. Please make sure you are certified by the end of June. We may administer another class in July. TWIA will only allow us to deploy TWIA certified adjusters regardless of experience this storm season.

Xactimate
Upon deployment by Texas Windstorm or Texas FAIR Plan through Leading Edge Claims Service, you will also be required to have Xactimate 27.5 and must also have the TWIA profile. Please upgrade by clicking the following link. Call the Xactimate Sales Department to obtain the TWIA profile. There is no cost associated with it. You will need it upon deployment. Please email your Xactnet address to [email protected] so we can keep our Xactanalysis up to date making it easier to immediately qualify you in Xactanalysis in the event of deployment. You Xactnet address can be found in the "Help" drop down "About Xactimate".

Continuing Education:

​Updating Your Licenses and Addresses with the NIPR and Leading Edge Claims Service.
You can change your address here. It's easy, fast, & free. The NIPR (National Insurance Producer) database changes your addresses on file w/ all states you're licensed in, including TX, (and if you have non-res licenses in other states). You can find your NIPR # on your TDI license but you don't need it to log in. Verify and change your addresses today!
