Jeff Baber - President
Jeff is a Partner and the President of Leading Edge Claims Service. Jeff has over 15 years of experience in both commercial and residential claims management. Before and during his time in insurance, he worked as an owner, manager and consultant in numerous businesses in the agriculture, construction, and education fields. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Education and was a teacher in the public school system for ten years. Since being with Leading Edge Claims Service, he has helped develop new and strong business relationships, supervised and trained staff, adjusters and managers and implemented the use of our unparalleled state of the art claims management system Leading Edge Management Application. Jeff, with his extensive background in education, is instrumental in the development of the curriculum that has been approved by the State of Texas for continuing education and pre-licensing and is currently being used by Leading Edge Certification Systems. He is also actively involved in many charitable and professional organizations.
Troy Hansen - Vice President
Troy is a Partner and the Vice-President of Leading Edge Claims Service. Troy began his insurance career in the fall of 1996 after attending Texas Tech University where he majored in Architecture and a minored in Business Administration. He has over 13 years of cross-functional expertise in both commercial and residential claims management, training and adjusting both as a multi-lines adjuster, manager, trainer and as a staff adjuster for The Hartford. He also remains a consultant and serves on the Board of Directors for Med-People Solutions, a medical staffing company which he developed, grew into a profitable organization and then sold in 2005. Since being with Leading Edge Claims Service, he has helped to forge strong business relationships with many different insurance carriers, underwriters, adjusters and other clients. Troy has also played an integral role in the development of Leading Edge Certification Systems that provides Texas property & casualty pre-licensing classes and exams, Xactimate training, adjuster training and also offers continuing education courses online in all 50 states. He is also actively involved in many charitable and professional organizations.
Jodie Hackleman - Account Development & Customer Relations Director
Jodie is the Account Development and Customer Relations Director. Jodie has over 15 years of experience in insurance claims personnel management, marketing, account development and customer relations. This accumulation of experience has provided Jodie with a vast knowledge of all aspects of the claims management industry. Her expertise in these areas has helped her to seek out and build strong new business relationships with many different insurance carriers and adjusters. She is responsible for adjuster deployment coordination and also oversees the management of all adjuster and client databases to ensure that all adjuster licenses, files, contracts and other human resource standards and practices are kept up to date and maintained for a superior workforce.
Clayton Baber - Information Technology Director
Clayton is the Information Technology Director and is the chief designer of our claims management platform Leading Edge Management Application (LEMA). He is responsible for all application development, support, licensing and enhancements. Clayton has extensive experience leading the development and delivery of customized software products. Since being with Leading Edge Claims Service, Clayton has proved successful in building a powerful and dynamic software development team capable of delivering solutions on a number of new and existing platforms. He is also in charge of our technical support team for LEMA that is available to our adjusters and our clients 24/7.
